Seemed to be running on one cylinder for a bit after start, but after running a few minutes would run ok. This weekend it started up fine.Oct 11, 2013 · It didn't look like it had been used. Put a little fuel starter in inlet to carb (remove air cleaner, spray a few seconds, place filter back on then try starting). If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. It should pressurize the fuel system on the first turn of the key to on. From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. If turned off and back on soon after the pump will not run if the pressure is still there.
